The Hubble Space Telescope has once again surprised the scientific world by capturing a wonderful and mysterious part of the universe. This time, scientists studied one of the star clusters located in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a unique cosmic companion near our galaxy.
The resulting image is unique in that it was created by combining observations from two different periods, about 20 years apart. The first observations were conducted in 2002–2003 using the Advanced Camera for Surveys, and the latest ones were made with the Wide Field Camera 3, which was able to capture the details of dusty and gaseous structures.
In this impressive frame, you can see how young stars illuminate the cosmic clouds with a bright glow, forming new star systems.
