An international team of astronomers has made a unique discovery: a wandering black hole has been discovered inside a dwarf galaxy, located not at the center, but about 3,260 light-years away from it. The black hole was found in the galaxy MaNGA 12772-12704, which is about 230 million light-years away. It has about 300,000 solar masses and is classified as a rare intermediate-mass black hole.
