In the Peruvian desert, archaeologists have discovered an ancient city called Penico, which was part of the Caral civilization and existed about 3,800 years ago. The town includes 18 structures: temples and residential complexes.
According to scientists, Penico is evidence that the Caral people were able to survive in conditions of climatic crisis without resorting to war. They moved to areas with water sources coming from glaciers.
