The geomagnetic situation on Earth will worsen over the coming weekend, with second- and third-level magnetic storms possible, the RAAS Space Research Institute reported.
The reason is a large coronal hole on the Sun: the wind flows generated by the star are now directed towards Earth and will reach its orbit in about three days.
