For the first time in 13 years, Subway Surfers has introduced a competitive mode: the most unexpected friendship in the gaming world has formed as two legends of mobile gaming join forces.
Subway Surfers, the most downloaded mobile game of all time, has partnered with Brawl Stars for their first-ever dual-player crossover event.
Subway Surfers has finally delivered what players have been asking for for 13 years of endless running: a competitive mode.
The new “Showdown” mode lets you compete against other players for the first time.
Brawl Stars is also getting a complete makeover with “Subway Run,” a 10-player racing mode where Brawlers race through dots instead of fighting.
Full themed updates
Both games are receiving full-themed updates. Subway Surfers players can unlock six new Brawl Stars-inspired characters and race through those iconic desert worlds. Brawl Stars players will receive eight “Subway Surfers”-inspired items, including jetpacks and hoverboards, that will make any subway surfer jealous.
Event Dates
Players can enjoy the collaboration in Subway Surfers until October 5th and in Brawl Stars until October 1st.
Significance
This collaboration is significant because it brings together two of the most successful mobile games, creating new gaming experiences on both platforms. This is the first time Subway Surfers has introduced a competitive element, while Brawl Stars is experimenting with a racing format for the first time.
