Netflix's animated hit "KPop Demon Hunters" has set a new record by becoming the most-watched film on the platform with 236 million views.
The film, co-directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, follows the popular female K-pop group HUNTR/X, who live a double life: stars on stage and demon hunters in real life. Their primary opponents are the male group Saja, who, it turns out, are actually an army of demons.
The feature-length "KPop Demon Hunters" has pushed crime drama "Red Notice" into second place on Netflix's list, losing its lead with nearly 231 million views. Also in the top five were Taron Egerton's thriller "Carry On" (172 million views), Leonardo DiCaprio-starring "Don't Look Up" (171 million views), and Ryan Reynolds' time-travel adventure hit "The Adam Project" (157 million views).
