Eurovision 2026 will be held in Vienna

Austria will host the Eurovision Song Contest in the spring of 2026, the contest organizers announced.

The contest will be held in Vienna, the capital. This will be the third time Eurovision has been held in the city. Vienna hosted the competition in 1967 and 2015, after its country's representatives won.

The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest winner was Austria's Johannes Piech, known by his stage name JJ, with the song "Wasted Love." The semi-finals of the 70th anniversary edition of the contest are scheduled for May 12 and 14, and the final will be held on May 16 at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna.
