Beyoncé has won her first Emmy, Billboard reports.
She was honored in the special category of "Outstanding Costumes for a Variety, Documentary or Reality Show" for her appearances during the 2024 NFL semifinal halftime show, which will be presented on Netflix as the "Beyoncé Bowl."
The singer worked on the costumes with designer Shiona Turini, assistants Erica Rice and Molly Peters, supervisor Chelsea Stabler, and studio manager Timothy White.
The winners of these and other special categories were announced in advance to highlight the work of professionals behind the scenes. The official presentation will take place on September 6-7 at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
On September 14, during the main broadcast of Primetime, Beyoncé will find out if she can win another award in the nomination "Best Variety Show".
Earlier, it was reported that Billboard magazine published a list of the most outstanding pop stars of the 21st century, recognizing Beyoncé as a significant figure in the modern music industry.
