Hulu has officially given the green light to the series “Count My Lies,” starring Lindsay Lohan and Shailene Woodley.
As reported by Variety, both actresses, along with “This Is Us” hosts Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, serve as executive producers. The new series is based on the novel of the same name by writer Sophie Stava.
According to the plot, Woodley’s character, a pathological liar named Sloane Carraway, gets a job as a nanny for the charismatic couple Violet (Lohan) and Jay Lockhart. At first glance, it’s her dream job, but in reality, she finds herself at the center of dangerous secrets that are ready to explode with disastrous consequences.
The series will be Lohan’s first significant television role in her career.
