Taylor Swift announces new album

Pop star Taylor Swift has unveiled her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, which will follow her successful previous The Tortured Poets Department and record-breaking Eras Tour.

The exact release date is still under wraps, but the singer's website says that vinyl versions will be released by October 13.

The announcement of the album came after a mysterious online campaign. The Taylor Nation team published 12 photos in which Swift is dressed only in orange. The same day, a video was shown on her New Heights podcast, hosted by her boyfriend, American football player Travis Kelce, in which she took the new album out of her bag.

This will be Swift's first appearance on Kelce's show, although the couple has been together since 2023.

His latest world tour, the Eras Tour, lasted two years, spanned five continents, and grossed over $2.2 billion, becoming the highest-grossing tour in music history.
