On July 1, NASA's ATLAS telescope in Chile discovered the third interstellar object in history, 3I/ATLAS. Although it was officially registered as a comet, Harvard University physicist Avi Leob claims that it could be technology sent by aliens.
According to Leob, the object's orbit differs from Earth's orbit by only 5 degrees, and the probability of such a coincidence is only 0.2%. In addition, its brightness indicates a diameter of about 20 kilometers, which is too large for a natural interstellar body.
