Vienna and Innsbruck are competing to host Eurovision 2026

Austrian public broadcaster ORF has officially announced that Vienna and Innsbruck are the leading candidates to host the 70th anniversary Eurovision Song Contest in 2026.

ORF Director General Roland Weissmann stressed that both cities have submitted attractive bids, offering favorable conditions for organizing the world's largest television show. The host city will be announced in the second half of August this year.

Recall that Austria has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1957 and has won the competition twice. JJ won the 2025 contest with the song Wasted Love.
