Hollywood legend Al Pacino has become the first American actor to receive an official audience with the newly elected Pope Leo XIV.
The 85-year-old actor, known for his roles in “The Godfather” and “Serpico,” met with His Holiness at the Vatican on Monday. He is currently in Italy to film “The Maserati Brothers,” a biopic starring Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, and Jessica Alba. The film tells the story of the Maserati brothers, who pioneered the production of luxury sports cars.
The film’s producer, Andrea Ervolino, was also present at the meeting.
