Batman actor dies

American actor Val Kilmer, known for his role as Batman in the film Batman Forever, died at 65, according to a New York Times report citing the actor's daughter.

The Hollywood actor died in Los Angeles from pneumonia.

According to his wife, before that, the actor was ill with throat cancer, but later, he managed to overcome the disease.

He debuted in 1984 in the spy series Top Secret and played the main roles in the films Top Gun, Real Genius, Willow, Heat, and The Saint.
