There is an opinion that solar activity can cause magnetic storms on Earth, disrupt the operation of energy systems, and cause malfunctions in short-wave communication and navigation systems. In addition, there is still no clear answer to whether they affect human health.
The Laboratory of Solar X-ray Astronomy of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported that April will begin with geomagnetic storms. Geomagnetic disturbances will start on April 5 and will not practically cease until the middle of the month.
