"Moana 2" boosts Disney's revenue

Disney has significantly exceeded Wall Street's quarterly revenue estimates. This was helped by the animated film "Moana-2," which was shown in various cinemas during the New Year holidays, writes Reuters.

The Walt Disney Company earned $2.55 billion, or $1.40 per share.

Revenue rose 5% to $24.69 billion. Revenue from selling content/licensing and other products grew 34%, thanks to "Moana-2."
