Rare amber with 50 million-year-old pine needles found in Kaliningrad (PHOTOS)

Amber with petrified needles of 50-million-year-old pine was found in the Kaliningrad region. It was reported from the amber combine.
It is a rare case of an ancient resin-frozen fragment of flora that has wholly preserved its shape and color.
A cluster of five greenish needles can be seen in the amber.
It is noted that the fossil remains in the amber have not been mined in the last five years. Insects are usually found in amber; needles are extremely rare.
The amber weighs 29 grams and will be auctioned at the Amber Forum 2025.
