Black and red cookies

This time we will present black and red cookies.

Ingredients:

For cookies

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup softened butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup of flour
  • 1/2 cup rye flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

For the ganache

  • 85 grams of dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 85 grams of white chocolate
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of heavy cream

Preheat the oven to 175°C. Beat the sugar and butter until it thickens and turns yellow. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl, then add to the butter mixture.

Place the cookie dough on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Make the ganache: heat the dark chocolate and the white chocolate with the cream. Stir until the chocolates melt.

Decorate the cookies with chocolate ganache; leave for 20 minutes to thicken. Freeze and enjoy.
