Make a white chocolate Christmas tree

Cream ingredients

  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 2 whole anise seeds, lightly crushed
  • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon orange peel and 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Dough ingredients

  • 1 and a half cups of water
  • 170 grams of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 180 grams of flour
  • 7 eggs

Additional ingredients

  • 230 grams of white melted chocolate
  • Edible gold glitter powder for decoration (optional)
  • Anise seeds for garnish
  • Orange zest for garnish

Preparation of cream
In a medium bowl, mix the heavy cream and the aris seeds. Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or up to overnight.

Preparation of dough
Combine the water, butter, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir occasionally. Add the flour all at once and mix with a wooden spoon until the dough comes together.
Lower the heat and cook the batter, then transfer it to a mixing bowl and mix until it cools slightly. Add the eggs one at a time, beating each time.

Baking process

Heat the oven to 190°C and bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown.

Strain the frozen cream and mix with a mixer. Add powdered sugar, salt, pepper, and orange juice while mixing.

Pour the orange cream into a bag and stuff inside each layer.
Dip the slices in white chocolate, arrange them on a plate like a conical tower, and decorate them with glitter dust, aris seeds, and orange peel.
