Evidence of early Bronze Age mass slaughter and cannibalism has been found in the UK

The website Science Alert reports that Early Bronze Age skeletons were discovered at the settlement of Charterhouse Warren in the United Kingdom.

Evidence of trauma, fractures, and cannibalism were observed on the bones found as a result of the excavations. They are believed to have died as a result of the massacre.

The bodies' cuts and fractures indicate that some of them may have been eaten.

The violence may have been related to social and political tensions.
