Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian published a video on his "X" page, showing a rare Armenian coin with the image of Tigran the Great.
"This coin was made in BC. Circa 95 and has been on my desk since 2024.
If you're Armenian (or just a history buff), you know about Tigran the Great and how it expanded under him to become the most potent state east of the Roman Republic.
This series of super rare coins features Halley's Comet, which appeared during the reign of Tigranes and was considered a symbol of good luck.
Although I am not a coin collector by nature, I had to take this one and show it to everyone," Ohanyan wrote.
