Good to Go, a specialist travel insurance provider, has revealed which popular travel destinations are best for elderly or disabled travelers.
The supplier called Paris the most affordable city in Europe. Paris emerged as the No. 1 destination, scoring highly: "The City of Lights ranked in the top five cities for all metrics except for public transportation options and accessible attractions."
Three Italian cities, Milan, Florence, and Venice, made the top five destinations, with Florence also taking the top spot for affordable attractions and restaurants.
"Florence and Venice rank lowest inaccessible public transport, while Lisbon is second most accessible. Although it is known for its hills and cobblestone streets, Lisbon ranks highly for transport options, accessible cultural sites, and healthcare." said the supplier.
Athens, Amsterdam, Prague, Munich, and Berlin are also in the top 10.
