NASA's Juno spacecraft has beamed the sharpest images of Jupiter to Earth

NASA's Juno spacecraft has sent the most explicit pictures of Jupiter to Earth.

On them, the colorful spots resembling jellyfish on the surface of the planet can be seen.

Juno was launched in 2011 and entered Jupiter's orbit five years later, beginning to transmit images of the Solar System's largest planet and its moons.

The Juno mission will end on September 15, 2025.
