After the scandal surrounding the German football team's uniforms, Adidas will make clothes for the Mercedes team racers.
About a week ago, it became known that Adidas would no longer be the official supplier of the uniforms of the German football team in 2027. However, the sports goods manufacturer has most likely already found a replacement. As reported by the British media, Adidas will complement the Mercedes team of "Formula 1" in 2025.
Now Mercedes drivers get uniforms from Puma and Tommy Hilfiger. These contracts will expire soon and will not be renewed.
The decision to switch suppliers may be due to Lewis Hamilton's departure from Mercedes to Ferrari. The seven-time world champion has worked closely with the Tommy Hilfiger brand and even released his fashion collection.
According to preliminary data, the value of the deal between Adidas and Mercedes will be about 10 million euros annually. Mercedes has not made any official comments about this.
