The message issued by the British Antarctic Survey on Monday stated that a giant iceberg the size of London has broken off from the Brant Land Glacier in Antarctica.
Taking into account the predictions of the imminent breakup of the iceberg in 2016, the British Hull polar station was moved 23 km inland.
