Composer Angelo Badalamenti passed away

American composer Angelo Badalamenti, the author of music for David Lynch's films, died at 86.

Badalamenti mainly wrote music for films, but his biography also includes collaborations with musicians of the level of David Bowie, Marian Faithful, and Nina Simone.

During the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games opening, the Olympic torch was lit to Badalamenti's music.
