On September 21, the third "Festival" tourism and music festival concluded in Armavir with a concert dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia.
The State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia and Armenian pop artists Masha Mnjoyan, Zhakon, Iveta Mukuchyan, Erik Karapetyan, Brunet performed on stage, as well as the "Garik and Sona" group, "Nemran", and the "Reincarnation" orchestra.
The event was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister, Arayik Harutyunyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Zhanna Andreasyan, Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan, other members of the Government, and numerous spectators.
Welcoming those present, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, congratulated on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia. "This crowded square is a symbol of our freedom, sovereignty, independence, and consciousness today. We must build the happiness and prosperity of our country with our own hands," said Nikol Pashinyan.
Before the big concert, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, and other officials toured the city of Armavir, getting acquainted with the local products fair. They also visited the region's sights.
The "Festival" festival is organized with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports and is implemented by the Public Television Company. It has been implemented for the third year in a row, aiming to promote domestic tourism and regional cultural life.
The festival kicked off this year on August 23. On that day, a concert by singer Saro Tovmasyan (Saro) took place in Artashat, accompanied by the Karen Sevak Band. The next event within the framework of the "Festival" took place on September 13 in Hrazdan, where Harut Pambukchyan's solo concert "Left Harut" was held, accompanied by the Karen Sevak Band.
