The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra to Perform in Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE

The Armenian State Symphony Orchestra is a regular and highly anticipated guest in the Middle East. Across various countries, the orchestra consistently showcases Armenian performing arts and presents unique concert programs.

This time, the orchestra has traveled to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. At the Ithra Theater, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra and the Yerevan State Chamber Choir will premiere the Game On concert program, featuring symphonic and choral adaptations of melodies from popular video games.

As noted by Sargis Balbabyan, Director of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, Game On is a particularly challenging program for the orchestra. The concert evening will also feature innovative elements, including visuals projected on screen.

Following the performance in Saudi Arabia, the orchestra will travel to Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman. On April 10 and 11, at the Royal Opera House Muscat, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will present two concerts featuring the iconic score of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, composed by renowned American composer John Williams. These performances will also be accompanied by video projections.

Notably, tickets for all concerts have long been sold out.

On April 22-28, the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra will perform in the UAE at the "Classical Violin Olympus" international competition.
