"Yerevan Classic Fest": The international festival of symphony orchestras will be held in the capital until September 24, Yerevan Municipality reports.
The cultural project is being held in Yerevan for the first time. The start was given by the "Yerevan" youth symphony orchestra, which is under the leadership of Eduard Topchyan, artistic director and chief conductor of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia.
In the following two days, the world-famous academic orchestra of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic was presented to the audience under the direction of the chief conductor of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, People's Artist of Russia Nikolay Alekseev. On the fourth day of the concert, the orchestra and choir of the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Armenia took the stage.
On September 24, at 20:00, in the park named after Tumanyan, the residents of Yerevan and the capital's guests will again experience a harmonious mood, this time by the "Academia" orchestra of Milan's La Scala theater.
