"Aurora's Sunrise" - winner of the main prize of the Jury of the XIV Francofilm Festival
The Embassy of Armenia in Italy reports that Armenia won the main prize of the jury for Inna Sahakyan's film "Aurora's Sunrise" at the XIV Francofilm Festival.
The National Film Center of Armenia reminds us that the film received state financial support from the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
"Aurora's Sunrise" is an Armenian-German-Lithuanian joint production film (production companies: Bars Media, Gebrueder Beetz Filmproduktion, Artbox Laisvalaikio Klubas). Inna Sahakyan is its director and screenwriter, and its producers are Vardan Hovhannisyan, Christian Bitz, and Juste Mikhailinaite. The film was made with the scientific support of the Zoryan Institute and based on the oral history archive of the Armenian Genocide.
In November 2022, the film "Aurora's Sunrise" won the "Best Animated Film" award at the annual awards ceremony of the Asia-Pacific countries.
