Thus, Novak Djokovic lost the Australian Open for the first time in the last 2195 days. The Serbian tennis player suffered his previous defeat in the fourth round of the 2018 tournament against Korean Chon Heng.
It should be noted that Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open 10 times (2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023).
