The President is ready to support the implementation of the creative programs of "Little Singers of Armenia"
President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Tigran Hekekyan, founder and leader of the "Little Singers of Armenia" choir and director of Sayat-Nova Music School.
During the meeting, maestro Hekekyan presented to the president the creative events and concert programs on the agenda of the "Little Singers of Armenia" choir in the current year. Maestro Hekekyan also noted that next year marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Sayat-Nova Music School, which is a significant event in the history of Armenian music, and the school should be adequately prepared for the jubilee events.
During the conversation, Tigran Hekekyan also referred to the existing problems for the creative activity of the "Little Singers of Armenia" choir and ways to solve them, as well as the importance of building conditions necessary for the choir's regular activity.
President Vahagn Khachaturyan emphasized that he would willingly support the implementation of the creative programs of the choir, which plays a vital role in the popularization of Armenian music.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on both sides to meet again shortly and to continue working discussions on the solution of sectorial problems.
