Armenia will be represented by the singer Brunette in "Eurovision 2023".

This year Armenia will be represented by the singer Brunette at the Eurovision Song Contest. The decision was made due to the internal election held by the Public Television Company, First Channel reports.

Brunette is known to the public for several hit songs and is about to bring a new breath to the big European stage, "I am happy to share this news with you. I'm just creating music that I will share this time with the European audience," said the representative of Armenia at Eurovision 2023.

Brunette started singing at four and has been composing since 15. She is the author of the music and lyrics of all his songs. Brunette's songs "Night," "Smoke Break," and "Open your blue eyes" became hits in a short time and recorded millions of views on YouTube.

Hovhannes Movsisyan, executive director of the public television company, emphasizes the importance of trusting young and talented artists with the opportunity to represent Armenia in such competitions. "Last year, the attempt to send a new artist to Eurovision was justified. Until now, the competition song continues to achieve great success and capture the hearts of millions of fans. I hope we will surprise the European audience this year with an original Armenian artist."

"A few weeks after the organization of the "Junior Eurovision" in Yerevan, we have already started choosing our delegate for the May competition. At this stage, we are already working on a song and a video, which, I am sure, will be very impressive," says Davit Tserunyan, head of the Armenian delegation of Eurovision.

"Eurovision 2023" song contest will be held in Liverpool this year. The semi-finals will occur on May 9 and 11, and the final on May 13. Brunette will perform in the first part of the second semi-final.
