Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the Harry Potter film series, has died

The BBC reports that actor Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the Harry Potter film, died at 72.
His agent confirmed the information about the actor's death to the British publication. "Robbie will probably be remembered for decades as Hagrid ... for his role that brought joy to children and adults alike," Coltrane's agent said.
The actor was awarded an OBE in 2006.
