On October 10, at 18:30 in Devin Music Hall, a concert evening entitled "Yerevan sings for Forsh" will be held, dedicated to the 55th anniversary of Armenian singer, songwriter, and Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia Forsh. The event was organized by Yerevan Council of Elders members Armen Sargsyan and Nvard Vardanyan with Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan.
The Orchestra, Gor Sujyan, Aramo, Emma Petrosyan, Artur Ispiryan, Shushan Petrosyan, Vahagn Hayrapetyan, Arsen Safaryan, Aram MP3, Samson Melikyan, Zaruhi Babayan, Srbuk, Aghvan Papoyan, Arpin will perform at the event and congratulate the anniversary with their performances. , Artak Nersisyan, Lukas Madoyan, Hayk Petrosyan, Levon Malkhasyan, Radik Gabrielyan, and the artists of the State Theater of Puppets. An intimate and warm evening is expected, during which Forsh's friends will convey their love to their favorite artist in the language of song and music.
In the evening, a video film dedicated to Forsh's 55th anniversary will be presented, as well as many other surprises. Forsh and the band "Re Minour" will also perform.
"This date chosen for the concert coincides with the Erebuni-Yerevan celebrations for the simple reason that Forsh is closely related to Yerevan: the artist is one of the symbols of the capital. Forsh (real name: Vahan Georgii Gevorgyan) was born on May 25, 1967. In 1985, he graduated from the violin class of the Yerevan Tchaikovsky Music School. From 1985-1992 he studied at the violin department of Yerevan State Conservatory, named after Komitas. He has been writing songs since 1983. From 1990-1996, he was an actor and composer at the "Metro" theater.
He composed music for several plays: Nikolay Tsaturian's "Hetum the King," "Ungrateful Men," Vigen Stepanyan's "Dog and Cat," and others.
He filmed in movies. He has written more than 50 songs. In 1994, he founded the group "Re Minour" and performed concerts in different countries. In 2008, he founded the "Forsh and Friends" organization, which organized the "Musicians for Peace" international festival on the shores of Lake Sevan. He shot more than 20 video clips.
