The EU monitoring mission has stepped up patrols to monitor any military developments
The EU observation mission has activated patrolling activities in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border areas of the Gegharkunik and Syunik regions to observe any military developments. Through our presence on the ground, we aim to ease tensions and provide impartial reporting of the situation to the EU.
Papikyan discussed issues related to regional security with the French ambassador
On September 7, RA Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan received France's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to RA, Olivier Decotigny.

Sargis Khandanyan, the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations chairman, announced that the CSTO washed its hands and left Armenia.
"This is the sovereign decision of Armenia." Khandanyan on military exercises with the USA
"I would not assess the Armenian-Russian relations as tense; I am recording the facts, and they were recorded not only today but also yesterday and in previous months," he said.
"I hope Russian officials will follow up at the high and highest level." Khandanyan
He considered the vocabulary of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry about RA officials unacceptable: "I hope that the Russian officials at the highest level will follow up, and take steps so that the speech at a lower level is appropriate about RA."
