Agreement on the legal status of the EU mission in Armenia
Today, the head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, and RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan signed the agreement on the status of the mission of the European Union between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union. This agreement regulates the legal status of the EU Mission in Armenia (HEMA).

According to Toivo Klaar, the European Union's special representative for the crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, it is entirely logical that in the context of unblocking communications in the South Caucasus, any road or railway that passes through the territory of Armenia must be controlled by Armenia.
