Armenian films restored in 4K format will be shown in New York
On January 28, at 1:30 p.m. and January 31, at 1:00 p.m., the founders of Armenian cinema, Hamo Beknazaryan's "The House on the Volcano" (1928) and "Yerkir Nairi" (1930), will be shown in 4K restored format.
Sergei Parajanov was pardoned posthumously in Ukraine
The head of the Institute of National Memory of Ukraine, Anton Drobovych, announced that the National Commission for Rehabilitation in Ukraine officially acquitted Sergei Parajanov, who was convicted of rape 50 years ago.
A statue of Parajanov was unveiled in Yerevan, and it is planned to have a "Pomegranate Color" square.
