Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan congratulated the athletes on their victories.
"Over the past weekend, Armenian athletes performed impressively in several sports, registering high results.
This year, the Yerevan community plans to hold 15 international tournaments in various sports, and I fully hope that our athletes will record another high result.
I congratulate our representatives of the sports world on their impressive victories," he wrote on his Facebook page.
