Yerevan Municipality intends to improve the "Cascade" complex ultimately.
At the meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders, Mayor Hrachya Sargsyan informed that as a result of negotiations with the Cafesjian Foundation, an agreement was reached that the Cascade sinkhole, which was donated by the community to the Cafesjian Foundation in May 2002, should be returned to the Yerevan community.
According to the mayor. "There is an intention to build a new building of the Museum of Modern Art there. We will also have an arena, enabling us to activate cultural life in Yerevan."
