The death toll from Brazil's floods has risen to 83

The number of victims has reached at least 83 as a result of a series of catastrophic floods in the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. Authorities are also investigating four other deaths to see if they are related to the storms.

It is reported that 276 more people were injured, at least 111 people went missing, and 121,000 people were displaced. More than 850,000 people in 345 states were affected by the disaster, and houses, roads, and bridges were destroyed.
