"We discussed the border delimitation and peace treaty issues." Michelle

We had a good meeting with Azerbaijani President Aliyev, RA Prime Minister Pashinyan, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, stated the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, summarizing the results of the five-party talks in Chisinau.

"We had the opportunity to touch on all the topics we discussed in Brussels in May: communications, security and rights, border demarcation, and the peace treaty.

It was a wonderful preparation for the July 21 meeting in Brussels. This means that we are working hard and intend to support all efforts aimed at normalization of relations. I also announced that I intend to invite President Aliyev, Prime Minister Pashinyan, Chancellor Scholz and President Macron again to the next meeting of the European Political Community to be held in Spain. This means that we will do everything on the part of the EU to help, support, make greater progress in the direction of normalization of relations," said Michel.
