The Chinese president will visit Moscow next week

Regarding its sources, the Reuters agency reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping plans to travel to Russia next week to meet his counterpart, Vladimir Putin.

The visit comes in the context of China's offer to bring peace to the Russo-Ukraine war, an approach viewed with skepticism by the West, given China's diplomatic support for Russia.

The Russian "TASS" news agency reported on January 30 that Putin invited Xi to visit in the spring. The Wall Street Journal reported that the visit to Moscow could occur in April or early May.
