"The RF proposal to leave the issue of the status of Karabakh to the future is unacceptable," Bayramov

During the final press conference of the year, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, referred to Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, peace negotiations, and the progress of the peace treaty.
"It is no secret that the Russian side proposed to leave the issue related to the status of Karabakh for the following years.
We must base ourselves on our agenda and our proposals. We have announced from the first day that this offer is unacceptable. We are negotiating on fundamental principles. Azerbaijan takes steps only within the framework of its national interests," Bayramov said.
