Technical delegations met at the Armenian-Turkish border

Turkish President Recep Erdogan's spokesman Ibrahim Kalin referred to normalizing Armenian-Turkish and Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. Kalin, in particular, stated: "At the beginning of this month, a meeting of technical delegations took place on the Turkish-Armenian border, both on the territory of Turkey and Armenia. There is a bridge there; work has been done to repair it and technically prepare it for road control, customs control, and other similar procedures that will be implemented after the opening of the border.

The work was carried out from both sides; ours even went to the other side and had lunch with them. From this point of view, it can be confidently said that a positive process is underway. Shortly, it is possible to allow the travel of citizens of third countries and persons with diplomatic passports," said Ibrahim Kalin, the spokesman and senior adviser of the Turkish president, on the live broadcast of the Turkish A Haber TV channel.

Kalin also noted that now the incidents between Armenia and Azerbaijan have stopped and subsided, negotiations have resumed, and they are moving in the right direction. According to Kalin, the simultaneous regulation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and between Armenia and Turkey will be smoother.
