A military base for the special operations forces of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia will be built in Mukhrovani, Sagarejo municipality, which is less than an hour away from Tbilisi.
This was announced on Tuesday during a solemn meeting organized on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the special operations forces.
The modern center of special operations forces will fully meet NATO standards. The project cost, which is expected to be completed in two years, is about 70 million lari (about 26 million dollars).
