Poland to expand the US Air Force base on its territory

Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mariusz Blaszczak told journalists that Poland is expanding the US Air Force base in the central part of the country.

"In June, with US Ambassador Mark Brzezinski, we started building an armory in Povidze. Thus, it can be said that Povidze is turning into a military complex that will support the Polish and NATO forces in the eastern wing of the North Atlantic Alliance," said the minister.

According to the latest information, more than 10,000 American soldiers are stationed in Poland.
