RBC reports that the employees of the Russian office of TikTok were offered to move to Kazakhstan, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. But those who want to do this will have to bear all the costs and return to Russia to sign an additional labor contract.
It is noted that before the start of the unique Russian military operation, 200-300 employees worked in the Russian office of TikTok; some were not physically located in Russia. According to the source, judging by the reports, every third employee is located in another country.
An interviewee close to RBC's TikTok said that after the suspension of TikTok in Russia, some employees of the Russian office started working in other international teams, for example, in the Middle East, but remained employees of the Russian office.
