The Federal Council of the Russian Federation has started consultations with Azerbaijan and Armenia to form tripartite inter-parliamentary ties

The deputy speaker of the Russian Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev. Announced, "The Federal Council, to start tripartite inter-parliamentary relations, has started consultations with Azerbaijan and Armenia to strengthen the trust between the parties."

"In yesterday's joint statement, the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, among other things, emphasized the importance of creating a positive atmosphere between Azerbaijan and Armenia, continuing the dialogue between the public, expert communities, and representatives of religious leaders with the support of Russia, as well as strengthening trust between the peoples of the two countries. To start tripartite inter-parliamentary contacts," the deputy speaker wrote in his Telegram channel.

"We aim to launch the mechanisms of bilateral inter-parliamentary commissions with Azerbaijan and Armenia to implement this problem. The relevant consultations regarding the Federal Council have already started," he added.

It should be noted that the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia adopted a joint statement following the results of the meeting held in Sochi, emphasizing the start of tripartite inter-parliamentary contacts, which will contribute to the strengthening of trust between the parties.
