Protests in Iran will not lead to regime change. Foreign Ministry of Iran

The Foreign Minister of the republic, Hossein Amir Abdollahyan, announced that protest actions in Iran would not lead to regime change. According to him, "nothing extraordinary happens in the country."

Abdolahyan is convinced that many protests result from foreign mass media and propaganda. "Don't play on the emotions of the Iranian people," said the minister. Abdolahyan assured that the death of Makhsa Amini is "seriously investigated," recalling that President Ebrahim Raisi personally called the deceased's family.

"Iranians are emotional people, and in the first hours after the incident, they protested peacefully, and now everyone is waiting for the investigation to end," the minister continued.
